“We moved from Sydney and Wangi Wangi was just right – all the basic services and good watering holes, but only one-and-a-half hours from our two sons in Sydney.

We had given no thought to a retirement village, but we were so impressed with the villa’s layout and outlook that we paid a deposit as quickly as we could. Our view is magnificent, and it is just so good to sit out on the balcony on a sunny morning with a book and breakfast.

We recently spent ten days in Coffs Harbour, Ballina and Tweed Heads. The night we got home, we sat looking at the lights around the lake and enjoyed it as much as anywhere we’d been.

What we like about life in Wangi Shores is that there are communal activities to enjoy, but there is no pressure to participate. We use the library a lot and our grandkids love the pool and games room; the balance is exactly right for us.”
